lady among the mountians black and white

This was my second photo that I did, but just added a different affect to it. I kept the background the same except I changed it to black and white. I didnt want to make the women stand out to much so I went to adjustment and went to hue balance and changed the balances on her to giver her not so much of a black and white effect because I didnt really want her to blend into the background so I gave her a little more of a red-yellowish hue to make her stand out a little bit. What I also did was to the eyes of the women I wanted that to catch the viewers eye as you looked at the photo so I used a tool that did circles and outlined the pupil of the eyes and went to color balance and made the color of her eyes a lime green. With her lips I wasnt for sure how to make them brighter and make them stand out so what I did was use that cropping type tool and went around the edge of her lips, it took me a minute with this for I kept having to add and decrease each time to make sure I got perfectly around the lips as best I could. Next I went to adjusments and went to hue and saturation and gave her lips a little pink tint but didnt want to make it to bright. The last thing I did to this photo was with the tiger lilly I really wanted it to stand out from the picture so I clicked on that layer from the picture and added back its original color and made it normal to where it would stand out from the picture. What I like bout this pcture the best is the background; the fact of it being black and white allows all the pictures that I cropped and put together to come together as one and sort of blend in; makes it look more natural.
